When users sign up, their emails are automatically stored in a list in your dashboard under Subscribe Block. You can also connect the block to your Mailchimp or Convertkit account! Here\u2019s how to set it up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To add it to a post, page, or sidebar, click the plus sign to add a block. If you need more space, click the pencil icon on the block to switch to <strong>Edit Mode<\/strong>. While in Edit Mode, the settings move from the sidebar to the Block Editor. These settings are optional. When they click it, they\u2019ll be taken to whatever URL you enter in this field. This link can literally be <em>whatever<\/em> you want. If you don\u2019t have a page set up, create one under Pages &gt; All Pages &gt; Add New.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From Which Email Address: <\/strong>This needs to be your WordPress admin email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From Which Name:<\/strong> This is your name, your site\u2019s name, or your brand\u2019s name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Subject\/Body<\/strong>: These fields are for the confirmation email that subscribers receive when they first sign up. You can put anything you want, but it\u2019s a good idea to let the subscriber know that <em>they need to click the confirmation link to be officially subscribed.<\/em> If you leave these fields blank, default text will be used instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Send HTML email: <\/strong>Check the box to use HTML in your email. Use the code %NAME% to insert the subscriber\u2019s name and %URL% to insert the confirmation link wherever you want. Take a look at the screenshot above if you need a visual example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Custom Subscribe Link Text<\/strong>: If you\u2019re using HTML and want to override the default, \u201cClick here to subscribe!\u201d text, you can enter your own custom text in this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Subscribers<\/strong>: Once the subscriber is confirmed, their email will be listed under here. Click <strong>Export List<\/strong> below it to create a CSV to use in software such as MailChimp or Constant Contact. This widget was built for small lists (less than 300 emails), so please download and delete this list often!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Unconfirmed \/ Temporary Emails:<\/strong> Unconfirmed email addresses are stored in this list. Delete them to save space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Delete Current List:<\/strong> Click this to delete <em>all <\/em>emails from both lists. This option can\u2019t be undone, so make sure you have a backup of your CSV before clicking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Note: <\/strong>If you\u2019ve noticed your confirmation emails are always going into the spam folder or taking hours to be delivered, or if you\u2019re using a non-domain email address (like gmail\/yahoo), we recommend installing <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/stop-wp-emails-going-to-spam\/\">this plugin<\/a>.
